It's getting a little ugly out there now that the air is clearing and we can see solar farms taking over our forest and farming land and windfarms obstructing the view of the mountains, and in some case, the ocean. 

Windfarms, Solar Farms, Transmission Lines, etc etc etc.  We love the environment but are we destroying the environment to save the environment? 

Don't get us wrong - we are here for the environment, and our planet has so much to offer. We have carved out quite a footprint just to build and link our humble abodes, but let's not wreck the remaining beautiful land that lies beyond our towns and cities. Surely there are other options, aren't there? For example, hydro including pumped hydro, tidal, thermal, or even nuclear (pronounced "new-clean-air").

Anyway, it's just a thought which we are sure some others silently share. Let's chat about it more. It's not being anti-green to discuss the different options.
